Botsford Fire Rescue will be led into action by Wayne Ciaccia for another year. Chief Ciaccia was recently reelected as chief of the volunteer fire company whose district includes much of the southern portion of Newtown.

Also serving as line officers are Patrick Keough, first assistant chief; Andrew White, second assistant chief; Tom Paloian, captain; Jim Swenson, first lieutenant; Jeff Dugan, second lieutenant; John Benvenuti, chief engineer; Mark Locorotondo, first assistant engineer; Wayne Gietz, second assistant engineer; and Pete Blomberg and Eddie Powers, engineers.

The company's administrative officers for 2016-17 are President Nezvesky, Vice President Mark Locorotondo, Secretary Jim Swenson, Treasurer Cindy Ciaccia, and Financial Secretary Maritza Nezvesky.
