May F. O’Connor

May F. O’Connor, 90, of Brushy Hill Road, Newtown, died September 28, at her home. Mrs O’Connor was the wife of the late John J. O’Connor.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 3, 1913, a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Paisley) Murphy.

Formerly a resident of Shoreham, Long Island, N.Y., Mrs O’Connor has been a resident of Newtown for ten years.

Mrs O’Connor is survived by a daughter, Patricia DeCesare and her husband, Kurt, of Newtown; two sons, Robert E. O’Connor and his wife, Lou Anne, of Atlanta, Ga., and John J. O’Connor and his wife, Rosemary, of Houston, Texas; a sister, Patricia Sullivan and her husband, Joe, of Barrington, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Karl DeCesare, Kerianne DeCesare, Kristen DeCesare, Kelsey DeCesare, Andrea O’Connor, Deborah O’Connor, and Noelle O’Connor; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held October 2 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.
