Shooting Stars 2, Stallions 2 â Jen Brill and Megan Barbour scored goals for the Shooting Stars while Bridget Naphen was solid in midfield and Tory Boushell anchored the defense. For the Stallions, Nicki Haylon and Jacqueline George scored goals. Christine Collins played great as keeper and Alanna Gilbert led the defense.
Thunderfeet 3, Hurricanes 1 â Natalie Villa scored two goals and Rachel Taback added another to lead the âFeet to the win. Ashley Rothacker had an assist while Maura Gissen and Sally Toms played well on defense. For the âCanes, Libby Maret scored the goal off an assist from Leigh Snellback. Veronica Parsloe and Amanda Sweat were strong on defense in front of goalie Nicole Grillo.
Boys C/D
Jaguars 7, Pink Muffins 3 â Stephen Ashbolt scored four goals while Timmy Lacouture, Kevin Read and Steven Jaroszewski added one apiece to pace the Jaguars past the Pink Muffins. Brandon McGuinn played well. Eric Rardin, Andrew Rothenberg and Oskar Dean scored the goals for the Pink Muffins with assists by David Manville and Dan Lawrence.
Boys E
Supersonics 2, Vipers 1 â Thomas DiLuoffo and Ben Stoller scored to lead the âSonics to the win. Robert Mascher played well in the midfield. For the Vipers, Michael Carratiello scored while Nathan Norwich and Collin Gage played well.
Tigersharks 1, Blaze 0 â Lewis Thompson netted the only goal in the final five minutes to lift the âSharks to the win. Zach Lewien was strong in midfield, Christian Gregoire was solid in goal and Matt Daitin led the defense. For the Blaze, Nicholas Badiola was great in goal and Andy Hsu anchored the tough defense. Patrick Ricardi and Michael Calderoni had good games.
Kings 3, Terminators 0 â Keenan Bennett and James Radcliffe, together with goals by Thomas Capozziello, Thomas Murphy, and Christopher Erikson, helped lead the Kings to the win. For the Terminators, Sean Dardine had a good all-around game, Carter Law was tough on defense, and Zachary Baudisch played well in goal.
Silverhawks 1, The Nucleus 0 â Stephen Ibanez scored the only goal to lead the âHawks. Brian Kruger, Thomas Johnson and Abhinay Tvagarajan played well. For The Nucleus, Andrew Bonvini, John Imbimbo, Russell Morgan and Nick Pedalino had good games.
The Nucleus 3, Terminators 0 â Gregory Campbell scored a pair of goals and John Imbimbo added another to lead The Nucleus to the win. Jack Curry and Jake Tolson shared the shutout in goal.

Fireshooters 1, Hawks 1 â Emily Rowe of the âShooters and Kelsey Karp of the Hawks scored the only goals in this draw. For the âShooters, Audra Sarna had an assist while Emma Sabin and Mallory Reilly were solid in goal. For the Hawks, Katie Shirley, Zoe Eggleston and Lilly Rodriguez had good performances.
Lightning Feet 1, Funky Monkeys 0 â Samantha Salvatore scored the lone goal to lead the Feet to the win. Julianna Sclafani and Molly Sheluck earned the shutout in goal with Kaitlyn Connolly playing outstanding defense. For the Monkeys, strong defensive play came from Lauren Faeth, Lauren Meyer with Alexis Black in goal.
Dynamite 2, Cheetahs 0 â Alexandra Grant and Abbey Keough both scored a goal to lead the Dynamite to the win. Matilda Dean and Stephanie Clavette earned the shutout in goal. For the Cheetahs, Jenna Bonnacorso and Kelly Brooks played great offense while Jessica Haitz played well on defense.

Raging Rams 2, Thunderbolts 1 â Colin Dutt scored 2 goals, the second one set up by a perfect pass from James Marusi, to lead the Raging Rams. Tommy Gleason was outstanding in goal and Kelsey Hughes played a solid game. Fred Dean scored for the Thunderbolts and Scott Smith was solid in goal. Eric and Ryan Pisani were outstanding.
Wolverines 4, Raptors 0 â Samuel Pliszka scored three goals and Nicholas Cagganello added another to lead the Wolverines to the win. Frankie Biancardi and Adam Oelberg played well. For the Raptors, Brenton Scott, Patrick Hagerty and Ryan Coe played well.
Lightning Bolts 3, Roadrunners 1 â Joe Davis, Devin DiNicola and Danny Bittman all scored to lift the Bolts to the win. Jonathan Schwartz was also solid on offense. For the âRunners, Stefan Dullinger scored the goal. Michael Teixiera played a great defense and Timmy Vogelan was highly effective on offense. Jaff Haylonâs all-round play was strong.
MetroStars 4, Nighthawks 0 â Noah Sock scored two goals and Josh Villa and Michael Scharfenberg who scored one goal each to lead the Stars. Will Carr and Justin Adsitt-Weiner played well and did a great job on defense for the Nighthawks.
White Lightning 1, Tornadoes 0 â Stephen Conway scored the lone goal in the third period to break the scoreless tie. Connor Roche had a strong game in the goal and Brad Kretz dominated on the field for the Lightning. Matt Baldino, Joseph Anastasi, and Ricky Kerins led the Tornados on defense.
Bombers 2, Rockets 0 â Tyler Ruefenacht and Jonathan Witten both scored goals to lead the Bombers, with assists coming from Jonathan Witten and Matthew Villamana. For the Rockets, Tim Eames and Christian Barrett played outstanding offense while Luca Weibel and Phil Healy had great defensive games.
Dragons 3, Monsters 1 â Robert, Nick and Brandon all scored for the Dragons. Francis scored for the Monsters while Gabe and John played well.
Girls F
Nighthawks 3, Thunder 2 â Meaghan Brophy scored two goals and Sally Martinelli added another to lead the Nighthawks to the win. Trisha Sullivan and Emily Peters were great on defense. For the Thunder, Maria Biondi and Kristiana Engler scored the goals with the support of Emily Brisson.
Hawks 0, The Bees 0 â Helene Sorenson, Margo Trainer and Jocelyn Vayan played well for the Hawks while Lilia Hutchinson, Lindsay Jossick and Deanna Wildman had solid games for The Bees.
Shockers 5, Firebolts 0 â Taylor Brady scored two goals with Bridget Powers, Megan Meyer, and Emily Switek adding a goal apiece to lead the Shockers. For the Firebolts, Abby Hungaski and Sarah Hasselberg led the offense while Olivia Korth played strong defense and Olivia Ingham stopped several shots on goal.
Boys U10
Crusaders 3, Brookfield 1 â Hank Helgren, Andre Capozziello, and Ryan Dunnigan scored goals with offensive assistance from Colin Cooper, and Chris Miller. Josh Barrett and Travis LeBlanc played excellent defense and Justin Brophy was solid in net.
Girls U11
Roadrunners 2, Brookfield 1 (State Cup) â Lauren Meyer converted a penalty kick in the first half and Katie OâDell added the game winner with ten minutes left to lead the Roadrunners. Shannon Paproski and Kelly Anne Brophy had fine games on offense while Jill Jagoe and Kelly OâConner were strong in the midfield.
Watertown 3, Roadrunners 2 â Becca Castegner and Lauren Meyer scored the goals in the loss. Casey Rutter had a fine performance in goal while Sarah Murtha and Sarah Attanasio had solid games.
Boys U11
Meriden 8, Strikers 0 (State Cup) â Michael Gould, Max Brazo and Nick Wright played well on defense while Kai Ashick, Eric Thornberg, Kyle Moore, Patrick Fay and Aaron Nezvesky never gave up in the offense.
Danbury 6, Strikers 1 â Daniel Lynch, Eric Thornberg, Ryan Pasko and Kyle Moore played well on offense while Josh Engler and Dan Hufziger anchored the D.
Boys U12
Raptors 2 Westport 0 (State Cup) â Daniel Greenwood and Adam Buccino scored goals to lead the Raptors into the third round of the State Cup. George Zaruba, Eric Keogler, Matt Iassogna, Danny Clement and Benjamin Miles all put in strong performances for the Raptors.
Girls U12
Rampage 3, Trumbull United 1 (State Cup) â Laura Bittman scored two goals and Monica Warek added another to lead the Rampage into the third round of the State Cup. Ally Modzelewski was exceptional on defense while midfielders Caleigh Boyle, Kate Bowen, Sara Kelley, Susan Mason and Hannah Basch-Gould dominated play. Goalie Katie Pessin registered 17 saves.
Girls U13
Hurricanes 4, Rocky Hill 1 (State Cup) â Cassie David and Jen Brewer were solid in goal and led the Hurricanes into the third round of the State Cup. Colleen Thornberg, Kasey Schulz, Danielle Norris and Katie Serock scored the goals. Nora Lynn Shimko provided an assist. Emily Weber, Kelley Sullivan and Haley Keane anchored the D.
Girls U14
Watertown 1, Gators 0 (State Cup) â Christie Attanasio, Jackie Petrasanta, Kendra OâConnor and Claire Ober were strong on defense and Katie Power had an outstanding game in goal, but the Gators fell to Watertown.
