The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) is happy to announce the return of its annual Fall Art Show & Sale.

This year’s event is planned for the weekend of October 22-24 at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street (at the flagpole).

Hours will be 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.

Admission is free all weekend.

Due to the pandemic, there will no Friday evening opening reception.

The show will feature framed pieces and portfolios including paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media by members of SCAN.

Receiving will be at the meeting house on Thursday, October 21, from 3 to 6 pm.

New members are always welcome.
