Mumm(y)âs The Word
Just in time for Halloween, the C.H. Booth Library presents âMummy-Making,â a two-hour workshop for youngsters in grades six and up, Monday, October 29, from 3 to 5 pm. The desktop mummies will be created from plastic bottles and old shirts and will be decorated with glow-in-the-dark paint for a ghoulish effect.
The workshop is limited to 15, so early registration is encouraged. A supply fee of $5 is payable at sign up at the main circulation desk on the second floor of the library. Participants must bring an empty 1-liter (28 to 38 ounces) plastic bottle and an old shirt.
For more information call the library at 426-4533.
