uWins over Canisius (2-1) and Niagara (6-0) have pushed the Fairfield University womenâs soccer team to 6-5-1 overall, 2-0-0 in the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Casey Frobey (NHS â06) scored a goal in both wins and now has a team-high five on the season.
uSophomore Abigail Atkinson (NHS â06) was a double-winner as the Bucknell University womenâs swimming & diving team opened the season with a non-scored dual meet against the University of Maryland at Baltimore County. Atkinson claimed the top spots in both the 100- and 200-yard backstroke with times of 1:01.16 and 2:09.77, respectively. The Bison will be back in action on Saturday, October 27, for the annual Blue vs. Orange meet. The squad will then take to the road for a dual against Duquesne on November 3.

uStephanie Logan (NHS â04) was named to the Quinnipiac Invitational All-Tournament Team even as the Quinnipiac womenâs volleyball team fell to 1-20 overall with a 32-30, 30-20, 30-24 loss to St. Peterâs College. Logan has a team-high 123 kills in 21 matches with a team-high 21 service aces, 58 digs and a team-high 32 blocks. The Lady Bobcats were at Iona on Wednesday and will be at Sacred Heart on Saturday, October 20, before hosting Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, October 21, at home.
