Business Name: Fruits And Roots Cafe, LLC

Address: 123 South Main Street, Newtown

Owners: Tony Carroll and Jenna LoRusso

Business Background: Tony: Fruits And Roots Cafe opened in December of 2019. I am very adamant about keeping my body healthy and my immune system strong, so I did a lot of research about health and wellness. After curating a business plan that specializes in local goods and wellness products, I opened Fruits and Roots Cafe, and was soon after joined by my hard-working partner, Jenna LoRusso.

What is your business focus: Health and wellness products such as smoothies, acai bowls, CBD, and vegan skincare.

What is something important that you want readers to know about your business: We are a small cafe here to cater to the health and wellness of our community. We support all small local businesses which is why we incorporated local products into our “shop” part of the cafe. Our goal is to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle for ourselves and our customers.

Do you have any upcoming promotions or seasonal specials: We currently offer a 10 percent discount for all local business owners, first responders, service men/women, and correctional officer personnel. For seasonal specials, we will be adding soup to the menu for the fall/winter season!

Hours: Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5 pm; and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
