Endorses Pertoso
To The Editor:
I have known Tracey Pertoso for nearly ten years and I am fortunate to call her a colleague and, even better, a friend.
My relationship with Tracey began in a professional capacity. She had recently been hired as Assistant Counsel in the Legal & Risk Services Department at Yale New Haven Health Services Corporation and was officially my client. However, I quickly realized that Tracey was someone who rolled up her sleeves and partnered with her outside counsel to get the work done.
Tracey is smart, hardworking and abides by the strictest standards of quality and ethics both personally as well as professionally. Over the years, we have become personal friends and I’ve watched her take her place as an active member in our community. There are too many to list, but she served for years on the Economic Development Commission where she contributed her analytical and critical thinking skills on a volunteer basis. Most recently, her service brought her to her passion: animals. Tracey is also a member of The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard where she works tirelessly to preserve the long-cherished tradition of the horse guard.
As impressive as all of this is, Tracey’s greatest accomplishment is her daughter to whom she passed on her love of animals, Sophia, a senior at Sacred Heart University, who is studying to be a veterinarian. Tracey is currently running for a seat in District 3’s Legislative Council and I know she will bring the same passion and work ethic to that position that she does to all her other interests.
If you feel that the most qualified person should win that race, then please join me in voting for her.
