Annual Elves Harvest Fair At Waldorf School

The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School will hold its annual Elves’ Harvest Fair Saturday, October 25, from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission is free.

The fair will feature a sale of children’s gifts, books, dolls, and toys from a variety of vendors. Hungry fairgoers will also enjoy a gourmet natural-foods lunch accompanied by live music. A homemade apple pie sale will provide delicious treats for fairgoers to take home.

For children of all ages, the fair offers face painting and the opportunity to create their own homemade holiday gifts in several ongoing elves’ workshops. Children will also enjoy performances of Waldorf-style puppet shows, presented by the Early Childhood faculty. Harvest-related outdoor activities include a hay maze, hay rides, and a petting zoo.

Unique to the Elves’ Harvest Fair is the one and only Pocket Man — a colorful individual with treasures in his many pockets — and the children-only Magical Forest Room where the children are led on an enchanting journey.

The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School is on Route 302. For more information call 364-1113.
