First Guild Satellite Show At

Galleria d’Arte Opening This Month

RIDGEFIELD — As a sponsor of Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ Satellite Gallery Program (SGP), Galleria d’Arte will host a new art show featuring eight local artists from October 30 through November 11.

The show’s opening will be Thursday, October 30, from 6-9 pm. Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm; Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm; and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm. The gallery is at 3 Bailey Avenue; call 203-431-7728.

This is the first time Galleria has devoted its space exclusively to the artists of the Ridgefield Guild. The show will present works by Lorraine Agri, Amy Bock, Ghislaine Brehe-Moomaw, Maryann Donohue, Julie Hopkins, Steffi Jones, Ann Kromer, and Paula Renee. The artists are all long-term members of the guild. The show will include oils, prints, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and image transfers.

The SGP was created by Ridgefield Guild of Artists to help its member artists gain more exposure, as well as to promote awareness in the community of the many accomplished artists who reside in the vicinity of Ridgefield.
