Frances M. Rohrbacher

Frances M. Rohrbacher, 70, formerly of Stamford, died October 16 peacefully at her home in Sandy Hook surrounded by family.

Mrs Rohrbacher was a parishioner of St Rose of Lima in Newtown and Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Stamford.

She was a loving wife and mother, always warm, friendly, and caring, and endeared herself to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking, baking, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed daily walks. She adored her grandchildren and was always there to help her family.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Rohrbacher, Jr, and her brother, Gregory Siklos.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Betty Frances Schmidt and husband, Manfred John Schmidt, of Newtown; Theresa Karen Tyler and husband, Jeffrey Francis Tyler, of Vero Beach, Fla.; and Frank Peter Rohrbacher and wife, Lori Ann Rohrbacher, of Sandy Hook; seven grandchildren, Anthony Michael Cologero, Michael Christopher Cologero, Jordan Patrick Tyler, Scott Ryan Schmidt, Samantha Rose Rohrbacher, Frank Nicholas Rohrbacher, Christina Frances Tyler; two sisters, Theresa Alvater of Flemington, N.J., and Elisabeth Juritsch of Port Jervis, N.Y.; one brother, Joseph Siklos of Brookfield; and two sisters-in-law, Georgia Siklos and Katherine Rohrbacher.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 17, at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street in Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 18, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Stamford. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Stamford.
