Gators 9, Knights 5 – Dan Deamers had two clutch hits to score runs and Ian McWilliams beat out a pair of bunts to lead the Gators to the win. Ian Kirner hit the ball hard and Richard Andreotta played well at second base. For the Knights, Colin Morris, Andrew Kelley and Chris Tenney pitched well as Nicky Sajovic stopped a rally with a great throw from the outfield to home plate.

BlueHawks 8, Yankees 5 – Kyle Morrissey and Patrick Thornberg hit the ball hard and Cody Gotthardt had a fine pitching performance to lead the ‘Hawks.  For the Yankees, Rebecca Dutsar and Robbie Hughes played well and Patrick Sullivan pitched two strong innings.

Tigers 10, Knights 5 – Kevin LeBlanc came in with the bases loaded and struck out three batters to help preserve the Tigers’ win. Stefan Hennessey and Austin Bonadio each went 3-for-3 to pace the offense while Riley Wurtz had two hits and pitched well. For the Knights, Colin Morris, Andrew Kelley and Chris Tenney led the offense as Robbie Beier had two outstanding defensive plays.

Bombers 8, Knights 3 – Jimmie Mooney had a pair of hits and played well in the field to lead the Bombers. Colton Sposta, Johnny Kerins and Dominick Fedak pitched well. For the Knights, Brandon Ziman, Chris Tenney and Connor Blanc led the hitting attack. Colin Morris pitched well and got on base three times.

Gators 12, Brookfield 1 – Ritchie Sandler, James Alvarez, Ryan Tita, and Michael Lengel combined on the mound for a two-hitter. Joe Alvarez, Brandon Marks and Joe Davis led the offense to a four-inning domination of Brookfield. Joe Davis added a great defensive play in the outfield.

Orangemen 9, Black Knights 6 – Brandon Rosenberger and George Zaruba both homered for the Orangemen and Timmy Roberts (2-for-2), Kevin Leibold (1-for-2), Ryan Schmidt (triple) and Jon Smolen (double) provided the rest of the offensive firepower in the win. Leading the offense for the Black Knights was Leo Spinelli with two hits. Also contributing hits were Dan Tibolla, Cody Williams, Brandon Bowen and C.J. Portelese.

Orangement 11, Hurricanes 2 – George Zaruba hit a long home run, doubled and drove in three runs and Evan Barreto went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs to lead the Orange attack. Timmy Roberts and Steven Braun each added RBI hits and Ryan Schmidt went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Nate Crevier (triple), Jeff Spencer (double) and Zach LeMien led the Hurricane offense, while Jordan Ashby and Jeff Keating played well in the field.

Eagles 11, Southbury (#2) 2 – Spencer Williams had a double, scored once, drove in two runs and had a good game defensively to lead the Eagles. Michael Zaccaro had an excellent defensive game, both at catcher and in the field.  Michael Coates had two hits, including a triple, and pitched well. Nic Neves added two runs scored and had six stolen bases.

Eagles 5, Southbury (#3) 2 – Dan Sclafani’s strong pitching and timely hitting led the Eagles in a rain-shortened game. He followed his two-RBI hit, which gave the Eagles the lead, with an excellent pitching effort. Jamey Tibbets turned a great double play at first and had an RBI hit. Dale Nevis added a hit, a run scored and an RBI.

Hurricanes 8, Bombers 7 – Matt Datin broke a 6-6 tie with a two-run triple to lead the Hurricanes to victory. Anthony Gruce (two hits, three runs), Jeff Spencer (two hits) and Mikey Tobin (two runs) paced the offense. Alex Nordstrom pitched well. Brandon Bowen and Rob Blanc each had two hits for the Bombers while Ralph Sergiovanni crushed a long homerun over the fence in left-center. Cody Williams was sharp on the mound.
