Kevin M. Anderson, Sr
Kevin M. Anderson, Sr, 43, of New Milford, died October 10 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen Sperling Anderson.
Mr Anderson was born in Derby, November 5, 1959, son of the late Carl C. and Anne (Nancy) Mooney Anderson.
He was a graduate of Newtown High School, with the Class of 1977, and Colonial Technical School for Drafting in Monroe. He had been a resident of New Milford since 1985.
Mr Anderson was a design draftsman with Heise-Dresser Instrument Company in Newtown for 24 years, and a very happy automotive consultant at Danbury Hyundai for the past two months.
He loved his family and friends and enjoyed using his multiple talents in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and automotive repairs. He never failed to put his family first and attended all softball, baseball, soccer, and basketball games, and remained the #1 fan of the Dumas Drywall Ladies Softball Team. Being a classic car and NASCAR enthusiast, he remained a Jerry Nadeau fan through thick and thin. He had an ear for music, loving the drums, guitar, and keyboard. He had a strong faith and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lakes Church in New Milford.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin M. Anderson, Jr, and Carl R. Anderson, both of New Milford; a daughter, Kristen Anderson of New Milford; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Anderson, and a sister, Carol Lee.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated October 15 at Our Lady of Lakes Church, Old Town Park Road, New Milford. Burial followed at Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown,
