Letters Of Endorsement

To the Editor:

William Sheluck’s “I-can-use-as-much-as-I-need-to-get-the-message-out.-It-gives-me-more-financial- leverage” campaign committee (not the Republican Town Committee) ran its first ad last week saying he “is in a unique position to understand the needs of our town.” Unique?

Mr Rosenthal has:

–– put four children through all levels of Newtown schools

–– been a local businessman for 25 years (without any legal clouds surrounding his actions)

–– paid taxes to Newtown for 32 years...more than four times longer than William Sheluck has been in town

–– a notable record of accomplishment serving Newtown.

As William Sheluck says, “When I decide to do something, I give it everything I have.” As long as he doesn’t give it to Newtown.
