Osteoporosis Month

November is Osteoporosis Month. Osteoporosis causes deterioration of bone mass and increases the risk of fracture. It affects one in four women and one in eight men over the age of 50. Diagnosis with bone density testing is simple, noninvasive, and painless. Several treatments for osteoporosis exist.
