Generous Person
Beloved Berta Tucci, 78, died Saturday, October 11, at Greenwich Hospital. She was the mother of John Tucci of Sandy Hook.
Born in Larino, Italy, she emigrated to the United States with her parents Carmela and Alfredo Terreri and proudly became a US citizen. She graduated Hunter College with a BA in English. She was a beautiful, generous, and supportive person
 Mrs Tucci was well loved and celebrated for her tireless dedication to the New York Lighthouse Association for the Blind, the Westchester Philharmonic Orchestra, and other philanthropic organizations, including serving on the Board of the Westchester County Medical Center Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Tucci, MD; her children, John, Brenda, and Andrea; her grandson Maxwell, daughter-in-law Lynn, and her family in Italy, including brothers Dino and Gaetano and sisters Anna, Maria, Vera, and Augusta.
A remembrance of her life will take place at the Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road in Rye, N.Y., on Saturday, October 18, from 3 to 6 pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs Tucciâs memory be sent to The American Diabetes Association.
