Support A Constitutional

Convention

To the Editor:

Vote Yes for a constitutional convention.

Once every 20 years we have the opportunity to make revisions to our state constitution. This is the year. We should all vote Yes on November 4 for a constitutional convention to be called. This would permit us to discuss and to act on critical issues like defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman, granting the people the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances (Connecticut still does not grant this right), and revising current state legislative procedures which unfairly prevent bills from being brought to a vote.

Vote Yes on Referendum No. 1.
