Alzheimer’s Group At

Brookfield Common

BROOKFIELD — The Village at Brookfield Common, 246A Federal Road in Brookfield, will host an Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss Caring and Sharing Group on Thursday, October 30, at 3 pm.

Marie Rega, activity director for The Courtyard, The Village’s specialized Alzheimer residence, will lead the group in sharing feelings, concerns, and information in a safe and relaxed setting.

Ms Rega has facilitated similar programs at Second Home in Brookfield, the Masonic Care Day Center, and The Rehabilitation Institute of Brookfield. She will also assist participants in connecting with other community resources, such as libraries, education and training programs, helplines, guidance, and counseling.

Sessions will take place the last Thursday of every month at The Village at Brookfield Common.

All sessions are free and open to the public.
