Arthritis Seminar At St Rose
Arthritis Seminar At St Rose
The St Rose Parish Nurse Ministry will sponsor a free health program about arthritis on Saturday, October 25, from 10 am to 11:30 am, in the Monsignor Conroy room of St Rose School, 42 Church Hill Road. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
The program will be presented by the Arthritis Foundation.
The word âarthritisâ means inflammation of the joints. It is used, however, to cover more than 100 different conditions that cause aching and pain in joints and connective tissues throughout the body. Education is the first step in controlling arthritis. Exercise is the primary treatment for arthritic joints.
The program will explain the People with Arthritis Can Exercise (PACE) program and the Blue Cross Blue Anthem exercise program called Silver Sneakers.
