Even though I lived through The Fumble (it is still so vivid in my mind) and I lived through The Field Goal and I lived through The Kickoff, Iâm not sure how much more I can take with these stinkinâ New York Giants.
Now there is The Punt.
The Giants were up 10-7 on the Eagles last Sunday with less than a minute to go. Even though it was fourth down and the Giants had to punt, there was only one way the anemic Eagles would be able to beat the Giants.
If they brought the punt back for a TD.
Which â of course â they did.
All Jeff Feagles had to do was kick the ball out of bounds. Of course, all Joe Pisarcik had to do was fall on the ball and all Matt Bryant had to do was kick the ball down the middle of the field.
Another loss like those and Iâm a goner.
