Oktoberfest Jazz

DANBURY — Ghosts, goblins and werewolves in search of a treat on Halloween night will find it in the form of music at Western Connecticut State University’s Ocktoberfest Jazz event. The concert will begin at 8 pm on Friday, October 31, in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall, 181 White Street. The public is invited to enjoy performances by the WCSU Jazz Orchestra, the WCSU Jazz Ensemble and the aptly named saxophone ensemble Frankensax. Concertgoers are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Admission will be free; donations will be accepted.
