Czeslaw Koziol

Beloved Father And Grandfather

Czeslaw Koziol, 72, of Monroe, died October 20, after a brief illness. Mr Koziol was born April 30, 1936, in Lozowo Poland, to Stanislaw and Adolfa Lewkowicz Koziol.

He immigrated to the United States in July of 1981 with his wife and children.

Mr Koziol is survived by his wife, Teresa, of Monroe; his children, Anna Kalinowski and her husband, Zdzislaw, and Zdzislaw Koziol and his wife, Allison, all of Newtown, Jan Koziol, of Monroe, Mieczyslaw Koziol and his wife, Ella, of Oxford, and Jola Koziol and Elzbieta Koziol, both of Monroe. He is also survived by three sisters, Jadwiga Borkowski and her husband, Hipolit, of Florida; Henryka Blazuk and her husband, Bernard, of Washington; Regina Maciulewski and her husband, Jan, of Shelton; 14 grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial took place October 22 at St Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport, with interment following in St John’s Cemetery, Moose Hill Road, Monroe.
