Hospital Honoring Community Heroes October 25

NEW MILFORD — New Milford Hospital is hosting the 4th annual Honoring Our Heroes gala on October 25, with Honorary Hosts actor Denis Leary and his wife, author Ann Leary. They will salute community heroes at the awards dinner to be held at 6:30 pm at the Canterbury School Field House, 101 Aspetuck Avenue.

According to the hospital, this year’s winners have demonstrated a commitment to improving the health, safety, and well-being of others throughout the region. While some have earned the title in a single moment of sacrifice or courage, these heroes are people who serve on a more regular basis.

To them, helping others is an essential part of everyday life. The 2008 honor roll includes:
