NCC Students

Receive Their Bibles

Forty students at Newtown Congregational Church were presented with bibles during the Sunday worship service on October 19. The youngest children — those in kindergarten and first and third grades — received bibles that had been written for their age group, while the Confirmands received traditional bibles from which they will study for the remainder of their Confirmation class.

The bibles were presented to the students by Reverend Matthew Crebbin, the senior pastor at NCC; Reverend Janice Touloukian, associate pastor; and Tina Fiorella, the director of Christian education.

Members of the 2008-09 kindergarten class are Jessica Andreotta, Susanna Drap, Sarah Miller, Abby Poseno, Drew Poseno, Cameron Powers, Heath Sorensen, and Eamon Walker.

The first grade students are Will Crebbin, Thomas Daigle, Katie Dirga, Casey Dunn, Jake Pare, and Jane Shearin.

Current third grade students are Riley Burns, Zach Crebbin, Elisandra Daigle, Emma DeMarche, Cayden Dunn, Ryan Escoda, Hayley Isdale, Shane Powers, Ian Shull, Olivia Shull, Hans Sorensen, Julielle Topolski, and Grace Walter.

This year’s NCC Confirmation Class is made up of Michael Allwein, Robert Andreotta, Stephanie Annes, Cameron Clark, Kayla Green, Tyler Hanna, Ian Kirner, Emily Molloy, Samuel Molloy, Elie Mouchantat, Luke Shearin, Trey Trudell, and Gregory Williamson.
