Red Cross âPaint The Town Redâ Dinner Dance
DANBURY â Plans are in the final stages for what promises to be a festive night to benefit the American Red Cross of Western Connecticut. Under the theme of âPaint the Town Red,â the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury will host an evening of fun entertainment on Saturday, November 1, with all proceeds to support programs and services provided by the local Red Cross chapter.
Paint the Town Red will begin with cocktails at 6 pm and dinner at 7. Tickets are $100 each and attire should be dressy.
The evening will feature a special private showing of work by Janine Wesselmann of Redding, known internationally for her impressionistic style and discerning approach to her subjects.
The Paint the Town Red Dinner Dance will include dancing to the band Funkestra and a silent auction. Featured auction items include sports memorabilia, a traditional seven-foot floor clock, gift certificates, golf outings, artwork, and gift baskets.
