We’re writing not just as lifelong Newtown residents, but as the proud children of Renee Weimann, who’s running for Town Clerk. We’ve seen firsthand how hard our mom works and how deeply she cares about this town. She doesn’t seek attention — she simply gets things done, always going above and beyond for others.

For the past 18 years, our mom has dedicated herself to serving Newtown. She knows every detail of town operations and works tirelessly to keep things running smoothly for everyone who visits Town Hall. She treats every person with patience, kindness, and respect — because that’s who she is.

Being Town Clerk isn’t just about maintaining records; it’s about trust, accuracy, and accessibility. Our mom takes those responsibilities seriously. She values transparency, teamwork, and making sure every resident feels seen and heard. She’s also focused on modernizing communication and services so they’re easier and more efficient for everyone.

What makes us most proud is her integrity and work ethic. She’s honest, loyal, and always willing to help others succeed. She does what’s right even when no one’s watching and leads by example. Her dedication doesn’t come from wanting recognition — it comes from a genuine desire to help people and make a difference.

Newtown would be lucky to have her as Town Clerk. Renee Weimann will bring experience, compassion, and common sense to the role. She’s already proven her commitment to this community, and she’s ready to serve it in an even greater capacity.
