Joseph J. Williams

Joseph J. Williams, 50, of West Wooster Street, Danbury, died at St Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport on October 28.

Mr Williams was born in Danbury on December 2, 1952, son of Alice Elizabeth (Jardine) Williams and the late Joseph W. Williams.

Mr Williams is survived by his mother, Alice Elizabeth Williams of Kentucky; his two children, Samantha and Spencer Williams of Newtown; his sister, Carol Kilcran and her husband, Stephen, of Kentucky; his niece, Dana Marie Kilcran of Tennessee; and nephew Steven Kilcran of Kentucky; his former wife, Christine (Ball) Miller of Newtown; and his dear friend Barbara Colber.

He grew up in Danbury and graduated from Immaculate High School. He had worked for Geico Insurance for many years. He spent much of his time at the Sesame Seed Restaurant where he was considered family. Joe was a very giving person, a wonderful listener, and will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Peter Church in Danbury on Monday, November 3, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St Peter Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Sunday, November 2, from 2 to 5 pm.
