Four Seasons Ball To Benefit People With Disabilities
MONROE â There will be something exciting for everyone at the 44th Annual Four Seasons Ball, the annual fundraiser for The Kennedy Center.
The Waterview in Monroe (215 Roosevelt Drive/Route 34) will provide the perfect setting for an evening of intrigue on Saturday, November 15. Tickets are $200 each.
The annual black tie optional dinner dance promises to be a night to remember. Step into the world of James Bond 007 at 7 pm. Feast on a social hour with hors dâoeuvres and a full-course dinner, dance to the lively music played by the band Celebration, and try your luck at âDeal or No Deal.â
The ball is being co-chaired by Anne and Peter Foley of Fairfield, while the chair of the Tribute Journal is Christian Trefz of Trumbull.
The Four Seasons Ball was initially established to raise funds for the first menâs and womenâs group homes in the state. Today, the community continues to support The Kennedy Centerâs greatly expanded residential services program through the annual gala. Proceeds from the ball benefit the centerâs extensive residential services for people with disabilities, including 14 group homes, a supported living option program, a family support and respite service, and the nationally recognized Caring for the Caregiver Program that offers support for parents of family members who are developmentally disabled.
Thirty volunteers are working on the 2008 Four Seasons Ball Committee, including Susan Batcha of Sandy Hook.
Call The Kennedy Center at 203-365-8522, extension 216, for more information about the ball or to purchase tickets for the event.
