October 24 dawned sunny and crisp, perfect weather for the Waldorf Fall Fair & Craft Market at the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School in Dodgingtown.

The event included performances of Rumpelstiltskin by the school's Puppetry committee, family dancing led by Housatonic Valley Waldorf School's traditional dance teacher Patricia campbell, face painting, crafts, and activities.

The event was open to the public and entry was free with fees for crafts and activities.

The craft market ran alongside the fair with local farmers and artisans selling a variety of home goods, including jewelry, natural personal care products, preserves, and meat from grass-fed animals.

Vendor Vineta Abele got to show off her handiwork to three generations of the Settanni family — infant daughter Amalia, mother Sarah and mother-in-law Marleen.
Lilly and Laura McKinney of Riverbank Farm and Whitney Flood of 9 Main staffed the mini-farm stand.
Chris Anesi of Newtown put on the Pocket Man costume while dispensing treats and performing a few tricks for eager attendees at last weekend's Waldorf Fall Fair Craft Market.
