Olivia "Oly" Sylvia, 91, of Wilton, died peacefully October 29, surrounded by her family. She was born April 25, 1926 in Mexico City, Mexico, and lived most of her life in Westport.

Her children and their spouses, Manuel and Colleen Sylvia of Newtown, Maria Carrano of Bridgeport; Olivia Caruso of Ridgefield, Joseph and Donna Sylvia of Stratford and Gerald and Cheryl Sylvia of Easton; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren survive her.

She liked playing cards and playing bingo with her friends at the Ogden House, where she resided in Wilton; her favorite pastimes were knitting, watching futbol, and spending time with her family.

Services will be conducted Friday, November 3, at noon, in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Avenue, Westport.
