Sandy Hook Woman Arrested On Multiple Charges

Police served several rearrest warrants against a local woman November 1, lodging more than a dozen charges against her.

The charges stem from her failure to appear in Danbury Superior Court to answer to those charges which police initially pressed earlier this year.

Police said they charged Linda Bailey, 39, of 19 Dayton Street, Sandy Hook, in the case.

After making the arrest, police held Ms Bailey on $30,000 in bonds for a November 2 court appearance.

The charges stem from incidents in June, April and March.

The charges include: failure to appear in court, reckless driving, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, breach of peace, criminal mischief, interfering with police, and assault on a police officer.
