To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Frank Scalzo for Legislative Council in District 1. Frank is a native Newtowner. As one of five children, he was involved with most of Newtown’s activities one way or another. He was raised with the advantages of Newtown’s schools. He and his wife, Peggy, are now raising four children here. Their oldest is in middle school and their youngest is a preschooler.

Frank is a man of integrity. He knows the advantages of growing up in Newtown and wants his children to have the same advantages he had. He is seeing family friends being forced out of their homes from rising taxes. Frank wants to help. He knows how to listen, analyze and utilize information. He will listen to us. Frank can and will work with others. Most important he understands what Newtown is all about, why people are moving here and what we need to do to make a place people want to live in.

Join me November 6 and vote for Frank Scalzo — you won’t be sorry.
