How lucky can Newtown get! Native Newtowner Sara Frampton is a candidate for the Board of Education. Sara has been giving freely of her time for years. She taught Religious Ed at St Rose for eight years. She was a volunteer for the youth group at St Rose. She has been on the Board of Ethics for seven years and on the Democratic Town Committee since she was 18.

Sara has a masters in Elementary Education from Sacred Heart University. She is a second grade teacher at St Mary School in Milford. She is also a technology specialist for their preschool through grade 8. Sara never does anything part way. She is an example for “if you want something done ask a busy person.” Sara has very high standards for herself and would not take on something she would not be able to make time for and make a difference.

Education has always come first with Sara. She loves learning and now she is teaching others to love learning as well. She has always asked questions and shared this new knowledge with others. Sara can think outside the box, which will be very important to the upcoming Board of Education. This board will need to meet many needs with a budget that is already stretched thin.

Sara is a communicator. She is open, honest and full of integrity. She would be a great asset toward closing the divide that is threatening to split Newtown in half.

I have known Sara her entire life and have always been proud of her enthusiasm and determination. I am only sorry that we have moved out of state and I will not be able to vote for her on November 6th. You can and you won’t be sorry.

Sincerely,

Sally Sherwood
