The state tournament brackets are set for girls’ and boys’ soccer, field hockey, and girls’ volleyball. The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference announced the seedings and pairings for these sports on November 2. Here’s the breakdown for Newtown High School:

Girls’ soccer: No. 8 NHS will host No. 25 Enfield in the first round of the Class LL bracket on Monday, November 5, at 4 pm.

Boys’ soccer: No. 22 NHS visits No. 11 Naugatuck in the first round of the Class LL bracket on Tuesday, November 6, at 3 pm.

Field hockey: No. 5 NHS hosts No. 12 Hamden in the first round of the Class L bracket on Wednesday, November 7, at 5:30 pm.

Volleyball: No. 5 NHS hosts No. 28 New Milford in the first round of the Class LL bracket on Monday, November 5, at 4:30 pm.
