Mary Lois Rine

Mary Lois (Krape) Rine, 81, died October 31 at her home. Mrs Rine was born March 16, 1925, in Zion, Penn., daughter of Ward and Florence (Heltman) Krape. She was the wife of Donald J. Rine.

In her early years, Mrs Rine lived on a farm before marrying her husband with whom she celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary with on June 14 of this year. She worked at Hubble Plastics in Newtown for more than 20 years.

She loved watching Penn State Football and was an avid Mets fan. She loved reading and cooking for her family and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Craig Rine of Southbury; two daughters, Patricia Antolosky of Bellefonte, Penn., and Kathy Jo Biagioni of Oxford; a brother, Loel Krape of Zion, Penn.; two sisters, Emma Miller of Zion, Penn., and Ethel Bieghtol of Duncansville, Penn.; five grandchildren, Heather, Brent, and Todd Rine and Katie and Jordan Biagioni; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Rine; two sisters, Sarah Pletcher and Jean Benford; and a brother, Paul Krape.

All services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford CT 06492.

The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, is in charge of arrangements.
