COWBOY (top) is a real cuddler. He is a friendly and playful brindle dachshund/beagle mix about 35 pounds. Cowboy knows basic obedience commands and is well behaved in the house. He needs a home where he can feel secure and loved. Cowboy is fine with cats and other dogs. LENNY (middle left) is a three-year-old neutered black lab who is looking for a kind owner. Lenny is one of our Katrina dogs and is very timid. He has been through a lot and needs someone who has the time and patience to win his trust. Lenny needs to go to a woman who understands his needs as he is very afraid of men. MIDNIGHT (middle right) is a young black lab pit mix. She is friendly and fine with cats. Midnight wants to be the only dog and will be a devoted companion for someone who needs one special friend. RASCAL, an orange tabby cat, and SIMBA, a grey tiger cat, (bottom) are 10-week old male kittens who have recently come to the pound. They have been neutered and are ready for new homes.
