Trucks At

Stamford Museum And Nature Center

STAMFORD — On Sunday, November 5, from 11 am to 3 pm, rain or shine, the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, becomes destination diesel for the “Touch-A-Truck” festival. Some of Fairfield County’s biggest and best rigs and heavy equipment will be on hand at this annual event. From fire engines to large cranes; from the bookmobile and big tractors; to cutting-edge hybrid-electric transit buses; to the mother of all trucks, an 18-wheeler, will be parked at Stamford Museum and Nature Center’s parklike setting. If it has more than four wheels, air brakes, beeps when it backs, and has a deep horn, it will be at the center.

Liberty Mutual will provide fire safety information, projects, and goodies for children who attend. The North Stamford Exchange Club will serve refreshments.

Regular admission fees apply. See stamfordmuseum.org for further details.
