Frank M. Ploski

Frank M. Ploski, 74, beloved husband of Donna (Obuchowski) Ploski of Hitfield Road, Newtown, died October 29 in Danbury Hospital.

Mr Ploski was born in Danbury on November 1, 1930, a son of Bronek and Mary Ploski. He was raised in Danbury and attended local schools. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Mr Ploski was a graduate of Western Connecticut State University and earned a master’s degree from Fairfield University.

For 31 years until his retirement, Mr Ploski was a teacher in the Brewster, N.Y., school system.

A resident of Newtown since 1977, Mr Ploski was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church and a member of the Newtown Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Thomas Ploski of Rockville, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated November 3 in St Rose of Lima Church. Burial was in St Rose Cemetery.
