Hawley To Host Book Fair And Author Visit

Hawley Elementary School will be hosting a book fair from Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18. A highlight of the event, sponsored by the Hawley PTA is a book signing by Connecticut author Laurie Krebs on Thursday, November 17, from 1 to 2 pm.

Ms Krebs was a first grade teacher in Ridgefield where she has lived for 20 years. She has combined her love of travel with children’s literature. Ms Krebs will be available to sign three of her books that will be offered for sale at the book fair, We All Went On A Safari, We’re Sailing to Galapagos, and We’re Riding on a Caravan.

There will be a limited number of her books on sale at the book fair that will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
