To the Editor:

Please join us on November 8 to exercise your right to vote and support Keith Jacobs for Legislative Council for the Democratic Party in District 1.

The Democrats clearly know the value of a good education and realize the best investment we can make in our children’s future is to provide a quality education within Newtown that is fiscally sound.

We have known Keith for the past four years and he told us that the main reason he moved to Newtown was the reputation of its school system. Since then he has always been involved in school budget issues and has been co-chair of the committee of Support Our Schools (SOS).

We have long admired his dedication to his family and to his community. Keith is also an extremely hardworking businessman and has been a leader within his corporation. His effective skills in negotiating have helped make him a success in an industry that has undergone rapid change.

We believe that these skills will prove beneficial to the people of Newtown in the coming years.
