A Collegial Group Of Volunteers

To the Editor:

I am writing to thank my neighbors and fellow residents of District 3 who took the time out of their busy schedules to vote in an “off year” election.  I am truly honored that you found me worthy of representing you on the Legislative Council for another term.

When I was first asked to run for council two years ago, I must admit I agreed to do so with some trepidation. However, it has been a wonderful experience, and I was appreciative of the opportunity to stand for a second term.  Much has been accomplished over the last two years and hopefully there will be much more to follow in the next two.

I look forward to continuing to work closely with my returning colleagues on the council and even more so with those joining us when the new council is seated next month.  Partisan campaign rhetoric aside, the council has proved to be a quite collegial group of volunteers, where consensus is built and, in my experience, has moved forward in unison in the residents’ best interests.

Thank you again for your trust.

Best Regards,

Tony Filiato
