To the Editor:

We want to express our appreciation to the voters and constituents of Newtown who supported our efforts and entrusted us to represent our community on the Legislative Council District 1. We are also grateful to and appreciative of the Newtown Republican Town Committee for their counsel and assistance in getting our message out and heard.

Many people were involved, but we must say a special thanks to Michele and Andy Buzzi , Dennis Brestovansky, Carrie Schierloh, Ryan Knapp, Jeff Capeci, Pat Llodra, Mitch Bolinsky, and Robert and Margot Hall. Without such support, we could have never achieved this result.

We would also like to recognize all who ran in this race for their hard work and well-fought campaigns. We look forward to working with fellow D-1 councilman-elect Chris Gardner and everyone involved in achieving positive growth for this very special town.

Once again, thank you for giving us this opportunity. It is an honor to serve.
