To The Editor,

I am humbled that the voters of Council District 2 saw fit to elect me to represent them on the Legislative Council for a fifth time. This role has been incredibly rewarding and I am blessed to play a small part in shepherding our wonderful community forward. I am excited to continue representing District 2 with Matt Mihalcik and Dan Honan, and look forward to Charlie Gardner joining us with his legal background and local experience on appeals boards.

The idea of returning Jeff Capeci to the chairmanship with a Republican majority, and a vision of what that would look like, is something I laid out in a recent letter. I am so encouraged the voters put their faith in us to act on that concept.

Thank you to everyone who stepped forward to run, Newtown is a wonderful place because of the willing and dedicated people in our community and you are all a testament to that.

Congratulations to all of those who were elected. I cannot overstate the work that went into this campaign from so many. It was a true grass roots effort.
