To the Editor:

I am humbled by and thankful to the voters of Newtown’s third district for electing me to the Legislative Council. I will listen to all residents regardless of perspective or political party. I will use insights gained from them to guide the LC toward the best decisions for our community.

Thank you to each and every Newtowner who voted yesterday. Thank you also to my running mates Phil Carroll and Tom Long and a final thank you to those who stepped up to serve but did not win. A healthy community is built upon the willingness of members with diverse viewpoints to answer the call to public service. Newtown is fortunate to have a deep pool of highly skilled residents willing to serve and we are a better town as a result.
