Fraser Woods Students Learn We Are All Made Of Stars

Fraser Woods Montessori School’s elementary-aged classes recently enjoyed astronomer Connie Barlow’s interactive presentation of “Coming Home to North America,” the 65 million-year story of the North American continent. The children brought their stuffed animals to represent various species, adding or removing them inside the North America line as they appeared or became extinct.

Later, the middle school-aged students were impressed with her presentation, “We Are Made of Stardust,” a fascinating presentation of how the universe, and human bodies, formed.
