Mr and Mrs Jeffrey Allen Chontos

Hollee Ann Smith and Jeffrey Allen Chontos were married on May 29 at St Rose Church in Newtown with Father Bob Weiss officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Smith of Newtown. The groom is the son of Richard and Joanne Chontos of Tenants Harbor, Maine.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Gina Smith of Newtown and Susan Smith of Charlotte, N.C., sisters-in-law of the bride, were matrons of honor.

The bridesmaids were Beth Chontos, sister of the groom, of New York City; Amanda Chontos, sister of the groom, of Tenants Harbor; and Fletcher Chontos of Tenants Harbor.

Shane Chontos of Thomaston, Maine, and Eric Chontos of Tenants Harbor, brothers of the groom, were best men.

The ushers were Greg Smith of Newtown and Chris Smith of Charlotte, brothers of the bride, and Joe Eckman of New York City.

Other attendants included Chase and Cole Smith, nephews of the bride, of Charlotte.

A reception followed the ceremony at Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1992 and the Connecticut Culinary Institute. She is a chef for Aramark Food Services in Danbury.

The groom graduated from Newtown High School in 1992 and attended the University of New Haven. He is a self-employed contractor.

Following a 12-day eastern Caribbean cruise, the couple is residing in New Milford.
