Space is still available in the following courses:

Computers for the Intermediate User. Taught by Dan Tannenbaum of Newtown Computer and Financial Services, this class includes topics such as why computers frequently crash and how users can prevent this from occurring, how viruses work and how to avoid them and how to protect oneself and one’s family from inappropriate materials and information available on the World Wide Web.

Tuesdays, two classes, starting November 9, 6:30 to 9:30 pm; fee $59

An Introduction to Database Management. This class allows students to discover the fundamentals of database management using Access, the most popular database management system on the market, with Mike Ingber of Upward Business Systems. Learn to enter, find, and delete information, find filter and sort within a database, and how to create and customize a database to meet your needs.

Part 1, Mondays, three classes beginning November 22, 6:30 to 9:30 pm; fee $89

Part 2, Mondays, two classes beginning December 13, 6:30 to 9:30 pm; fee $59

An Introduction to Presentation Software. Do you give or create presentations for live audiences or in printed form? If so, you will be amazed at what you can create using PowerPoint. Join Mike Ingber of Upward Business Systems and learn the basics of creating presentations, applying template designs, formatting, adding clip mate, running slide shows, and more.
