‘Unity In Diversity’ November Programs

Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity with host Rev Leo McIlrath and special guests on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21, this month.

On November 8 and 10, June Renzulli, president of United Way of Northern Fairfield County, will talk about the way funds are distributed to those agencies delivering many of the services.

The Rev Ivan Pitts of the New Hope Baptist Church in Danbury will be the guest on November 15 and 17. On November 22 and 24, the Rev Terry Pfeiffer, pastor of Newtown United Methodist Church, will be seen and on November 29 and December 1, the program will feature the Rev Ann Beams of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Brookfield.

Each week, programs will be aired at noon on Mondays and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. Comcast will air these and other Unity In Diversity programs on Wednesdays, at 5 pm and on Fridays at noon.

Guests will present a history of each specific tradition, creedal formulae and liturgical rites, special celebrations and community action initiatives. Leaders and representatives of every religious tradition in this portion of Fairfield County are to participate in this venture.
