Wine Tasting To Benefit AHA

DANBURY — Stew Leonard’s will be hosting a fine wine and gourmet food tasting to benefit the Connecticut State chapter of the American Heart Association (AHA) on Tuesday, November 9 from 6 to 8 pm at its Danbury store.

Open to the public, the benefit will feature 50 top-ranked wines from around the world, including California, France, Italy, and Australia. Featured food will include customer favorites such as filet mignon, grilled sea scallops, jumbo shrimp, artisan breads and cheeses, and chocolate-covered strawberries.

Tickets are available for $40 per person (all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Connecticut AHA and can only be purchased in advance at Stew Leonard’s Wines, 99 Federal Road, or the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford.
