Of Gratitude

To the Editor:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Lenny and Paula Schaible for all that they have done for the Newtown community over the past nine years as owners of the Ice Cream Shop. In addition to bringing thousands of smiles to their guests who enjoyed their delicious ice cream, Lenny and Paula provided employment for many young adults (including our sons Sean and Brendan) and have been incredibly generous in donating ice cream to so many charitable events over the years.

We wish health and happiness for Lenny and Paula as they begin the next chapter of their lives in Florida.

Enjoy your family and your well-deserved retirement — we miss you already!

We also wish the best of success to new owner Mike Coppola who will continue to keep Newtown smiling!
